Born and raised in Brezoi, he went on to study Economics at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. He has worked in the entrepreneurial sector for ten years and was promoted to a management position within a multinational company.
After this 10 year long experience, he returned to his hometown in 2021, where he started working in public procurement at the Town Hospital. His guiding principle is to gain as much knowledge as possible from all types of experiences that life presents us with.
He is enthusiastic about his new position in the Local Council. His motivation is driven by the following objectives:
contribute to the townโs development, so that it becomes the place where his child and all local kids are able to grow beautifully, to benefit from a solid education and have opportunities for their future.
make sure that every local has acces to quality public services.
help people.
To quote his own words: โI am also motivated by my colleagues. Together, we make up a team of young local counsellors willing to bring about change. But the role we have taken up comes with great responsibility.โ
Ecaterina Andreea Dobroiu โ PM Specialist
Holds an 8-year long experience in training and project management. Also conducted Non-Formal Education activities for youth and children. Has worked as a training coordinator in 6 large scale ESF projects.
Joined Brezoi town hall in 2021, as a newcomer in public administration. First worked as a mayorโs advisor and communication specialist and went on to the role of project management specialist.
Tried to get to know the local community, its stakeholders and inner workings and to assist in fields more connected to her third sector experience: education, communication, partnerships, culture, non-reimbursable funding.
Passionate about projects aimed at sustainable development, in her free time implemented CSR projects for water conservation and for introducing sustainable practices into the festivals that Brezoi hosts each Summer.
